Works with individuals 14+

As a counsellor, I take a trauma-informed care approach with all my clients.  I believe it’s important to offer a safe and comfortable space that allows individuals to explore stressors and issues at a deeper level. I also believe that each individual should have a choice in what their therapy journey will look like.

I have experience working with the following:

-  Trauma

-  Anxiety

-  Depression

-  PTSD

-  Eating disorders

-  Bipolar disorder

-  Borderline personality disorder

-  Concurrent disorders

-  Addiction

-  Schizophrenia

-  OCD

-  Suicidal ideation

-  Self-harm

-  Grief

-  Life transitions

I am trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy, which is an eye movement therapy that can help individuals move past trauma and mental health symptoms in one session. I may also utilize one of the following approaches: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Brief Solution Focused Therapy, or Dr. Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry.

I am a firm believer that you are the expert of yourself and your journey. I am here to meet you where you are at and help you to navigate, to slow down, and to bring awareness to those hidden details that often go unnoticed. I do not believe in rushing toward an end goal, but rather taking time and space to understand what it is that has occurred and moving forward.
