Dan Song BA - Psychology

Practicum Student Counsellor

Hi I’m Dan!

I work with individuals 16+.

I was born in South Korea and was raised here in Saskatoon on Treaty 6 land. I’m in the final year of my studies toward a Master of School and Counseling Psychology (M. Ed.) with the University of Saskatchewan.

With a life-long interest in psychology and mental health, I am committed to serving those that invite me to be part of their life’s journey. I strive to provide a space of safety, consent, transparency, acceptance, and curiosity. I am passionate about the diversity of individual experiences and their mental wellbeing. No two individuals are the same and neither are their experiences; I’d love to work toward learning about yours and how they affect your wellbeing.

I have always been mindful and appreciative of the complexity of mental health, as well as its importance in everyone’s lives. My educational background is in psychology which I graduated with high honours, along with a certificate in ethics, from the University of Saskatchewan. Beyond educational experiences, I have learned from practical experiences to be a firm believer of advocacy. I am committed to meeting you where you are at, understanding your context, and reaching goals that you set for your wellbeing.
