Did you know that of the 1 million Canadian men who suffer from major depression, roughly only 30% of them use available mental health services?
Most men in our community suffer alone in silence. Starting at the end of May (date TBD) Logan Harland will be facilitating an 8 week men's support group.
Sessions are confidential, open to any individual identifying as male, and individuals can join any or all 8 sessions. There is NO COST to attend. Sessions will include food & drinks, engaging group activities, group events, and guest speakers.
Whether you are seeking support, companionship, or simply a safe space to share, we invite you to be part of the community.

The Shelved Group is to provide education, awareness, and an opportunity to reflect on what’s on your shelf. Participants will be provided with evidence and research-based information on topics relevant to substance use and mental health. The groups are facilitated in a non-threatening, non-judgmental, non-stigmatizing format. Turn your camera on or off -you decide. At the end of the groups participants will be provided with a menu of options to launch from- individual sessions, further online learning, or targeted learning about substance use.
The word shelved is used as a metaphor to describe those things we have in our lives impacting our health and wellness. We “shelve” things like anxiety, substance use, and behaviours not helpful to us. We also “shelve” things like knowledge, hope, and health related behaviours. Whatever is on your shelf can be reflected on and learned from. We can be purposeful in what we have room for and how to manage it.
